Our World Game – Places – The Pier & Wonderland

Remember going to the Pier when you were a kid? Yeah the great big wooden platforms that stand in the sea? Come on the ones Britain is leaving to rot! So, so, sad, anyway you’ll be glad to know there’s one in Our World, accept this one isn’t stood in the sea it’s floating in the sky! And unfortunately there are no chip shops or arcade machines to play on (sorry I tell a lie it looks as though there is but it’s yet to open). There are however, two pretty cool things to do at the pier.

The first place to checkout is Snaps. The Snaps Booth lets you take photos of you and your friends in front of a selection of different backdrops. Unfortunately only three people are allowed in the booth at any one time so large group photos are not possible, but hopefully the Our World team will look to change this. Once the pictures are taken they are stored away in your photo album so you can check them out at a later date. For free players your photo album is limited to ten pictures but for paying players your album is virtually limitless!

The second activity on offer at the Pier is the SkyScope. It’s pretty much your typical seaside scope except this one doesn’t demand excessive fees for a ten second peak at the sea. In fact you won’t see any sea from this scope what you can see though is the “Down World”. Down World is essentially their world (anyone who isn’t playing Our World), it’s the world the Our World gamers don’t want to know about, you know the world with all those boring meetings where people sit talking about boring subjects! Anyway try it yourself the next time you’re at the pier. There are all sorts of funny notes attached to various buildings in the Down World that make for amusing reading.

That’s it for the Pier would you believe. The place gives the impression it’s under construction and I’m sure new activities are in the works. I’d personally like to see fairground rides in Our World; you know the old classics like dodgems, the horses, perhaps a cheap can thrower thrown in for good measure! Oh and not forgetting the doughnuts, you can tell I’ve been on too many trips to the seaside, can’t you?
When you hear the name Wonderland you know it’s going to be a pretty wacky place to go to. You won’t be disappointed. If you’ve ever seen the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory you will know what I am talking about and no I’m not talking about the crummy version with Johnny Depp in! Yes Wonderland is Our World’s version of Willy Wonkers chocolate factory!

Upon arrival in wonderland you are surrounded by gigantic pieces of candy, lucky charms and colourful crystals sticking out of the ground. It’s a pretty impressive sight and it’ll make you hungry if you haven’t eaten, I’m getting hungry just writing about it!

There are three places you to go visit in Wonderland and my favourite of the three is Cake Mania. Cake Mania as the name implies is a pretty crazy place to hang out, but I bet it’s not what you’d expect. In Cake Mania you’re not there to eat cake I’m sorry to say, however you can choose a cake on offer. Yes it sounds confusing let me explain further. Each cake has its own costume that comes with it, so when you order a cake you’re not really ordering a cake but a costume to wear. There are four costumes in total but my favourite is a pink bunny rabbit costume, I won’t spoil it by revealing what the other three are. So cake mania is really just a wacky place to dress up at no cost (a rarity in Our World), with your friends.

The other two places to check out are Enchantments (candy, charms and fairies that follow you around) and Sugar Star (clothes and furniture), both are shops and have their own unique flavour of items to purchase.
Cake Mania and the shops are not the only entertaining things about wonderland it’s probably the most scenic of all places to walk around. So I’d suggest once you are done dressing up and shopping you go for a walk and marvel at the fantastic surroundings, like I said earlier though try not to work up too much of an appetite, or if you can’t help it have some food on hand!

Long Ball Mania

The games of baseball and softball are being ruled by the use of the metallic bats. The winner of any game in this new space age of the composite metal bat is held in suspense until the very final out and the fat lady has finished her tune.

Long Ball Mania is the vogue, the happening, the in thing, and without it the game has no drama.

The metal bat in its beginning was to be a godsend for the sport as an economic measure for longer lasting bats eliminating the preponderance of broken wood bats. “Well and good,” said the Wizard Of Oz for he was a grand follower of the game and he thought wonderful now we have no more broken bats.

Little did the world know with the introduction of this new battle stick called our Aluminum baseball bat or softball bat that many things would change and develop out of hand.

Surely if the sound when hitting a ball was different there must be other differences also so testing proved true changing to metal bats changed the physics of bat meeting ball. We not only had a new sound “Ping” we learned if we changed the composition of the metals used the flexible elasticity of the bat changed.

The space age development of composition metal bats quickly changed from a standard aluminum to bats with out of this world new materials that really made little baseball fly from the bat like a missile shot.

Not only did the “Ping” turn to “Zing” it has grown to the point of injury and deadly force concerns. Notwithstanding the health issue due to elasticity and mathematics of equal and opposite forces of this (Ball Exit Speed Ratio) BESR Certification formulation let us talk “Sweet Spot.”

The new age of Composite Metal Bats enlarged the sweet spot of the bat considerably up and down the length of the bat. Hitters are no longer having to be precise with the control and swing of the bat to have the bat meet the baseball ideally on the bat in a smaller area we call the “Sweet Spot.”

Now in our game of baseball or softball with bats designed and loaded up with a much increased area called this sweet spot and the physical elasticity of material these composite bats have changed the entire nature of our games of baseball and softball.

In days of yore very few players were capable of slamming the ball over the fence on any given time at bat. Good folks stand by for in the games of the future any player or at any time at bat have at his or her command and in their hand a (battle stick) bat capable of putting the ball up and over the outfield fence or should we say into orbit beyond the stadium walls.

The newer composite space age metallic bats now used Little League, High Schools and Colleges in both baseball and softball have brought about a Long Ball Mania “Zinging and Pinging.”

3 Types of Car Parking Games

With the gaming industry evolving at alarming rates, games are piped on a daily basis in the market. But most of them will cost you a lot of money to buy and on top of that, they can even make you feel frustrated sometimes. We all know how it feels when you reach a certain point in the game and you can’t get over it.

Games that involve cars you will need to park can be very fun and addictive to engage in. What’s best about such games is that you won’t have anything to be worried about like you do in real life, so hitting a car won’t be such a big deal (depending on the type of game you are playing). And yet, your gender won’t matter as anyone can play it and have tons of fun regardless of it.

Games you can play

Park Master 2 is a game in which you will be given a car and you will need to have it parked before the given time runs out. There will be another car that you will have to compete against and if you park your car before your “opponent” you will win the level. Also, you must pay attention to the nearby surroundings for if you hit your car against the palm trees, you will lose the game. In the first level there is also a human and you must be careful and avoid hitting him, as well. The car can be easily controlled featuring a close to real life driving experience.

Quick Park is yet another game that will feature a timeframe you will have to abide to. There are 80 seconds you are provided with at the start of the game in which you will have to make a perfect parking. The place you’ll need to park the car in is painted in an orange color and features diagonal orange stripes. Just fit your car within it and you will win the round!

Car Parking Challenge is a very competitive game as the name suggests and the scope of it is to find an empty parking space that’s been designed for non-handicapped drivers. After finding one you will need to park your car within its limits making sure you won’t hit any nearby objects. A timeframe will be present to which you need to stick to in order to win the round.
